We will follow Robert's Rules of Order for our Executive Committee Meetings. The Chair will reserve the right to interpret the application of Robert's Rules for our meetings.
Should anyone have anything they would like to add to the agenda, please do so by 5:00 pm before the start of the meeting. We will strictly adhere to the agenda and only speak when recognized by the Chair.
We will request recognition of the Chair before speaking by raising hands or politely saying 'Mr. Chairman", etc. After being recognized, we will make our motion. The Chair will seek additional comments/questions on the motion before we vote. The Chair reserves the right to vote on all matters before the committee.
If your discussion item is not on the agenda the Chair asks that you kindly reserve your discussion item until after the meeting has adjourned.
Due to the adherence to these rules, we will need a meeting Secretary to take the minutes in the absence of our party Secretary. Minutes need to be posted following our Plan of Organization which reads, "...The Secretary or his/her designee shall deliver minutes to the county webmaster for publishing on
the county GOP website within 48 hours of the meeting. Published videos of meetings will be
considered satisfactory minutes....".
